Go Snowmobiling in the wide Aroostook countryside.

Aroostook county's snowmobile clubs have grown stronger and more active than ever this year. Memberships have grown, clubs have united, and new groomers have been purchased. Some clubs are recovering from a lackluster past while other newly formed groups look to the future.

These clubs maintain what is rated as the best snowmobile trail system in New England. Through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, several miles will be added to an already extensive Northern Maine trial system this year.

Many of these clubs began preparing for winter events early in the fall. The activities are, almost without exception, family oriented. Visitors to the County are encouraged to join a club and attend club-sponsored events. The following is a list of clubs and scheduled happenings that will get you out and about this winter!
