Cedar Rest Cabins is conveniently located in the central section of Maine, home to the best white-tail deer hunting in the East. Our hunting parties enjoy a good success rate, and we are proud of the fact that we have been host to great hunting for years.
 When you get up the first morning of your hunting trip, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in your cabin, and meet the day ready to hunt. The cabins are all equipped with everything you will need to have an enjoyable trip. You will have no trouble finding whatever you need, and if there is something missing just let us know and we will do what we can to make your cabin as comfortable as possible. |
Everyone knows that hunting is only as good as the area you hunt. Central and Northern Maine has been known as some of the best deer and moose hunting in the East. You are assured that there are deer, and you will most likely see one, and then it is all up to you. We have some local guides to help in your quest, or we can give you some tips so you can go out with your hunting party and enjoy the nature of Maine.
With Baxter State Park just minutes from the cabins, you can enjoy a day of hiking, mountain climbing or just some great sight seeing when your hunt is over. Relax in Maine's vast wilderness, and still be just 45 minutes from Bangor and 1 1/2 hours from the coast.

Directions: Take exit 217 (previously exit 54) off 1-95 at Howland, turn East on route 155 toward Enfield. After 5.5 miles and a stop sign turn right and head East on route 188 - 1 mile on the left is the Cedar Rest road
