![]() You are likely to catch either Salmon, Togue or Trout in the lake, depending on the time of year you visit. Trout are not as plentiful, but the experienced fisherman who has a passion for playing the line will likely catch one or two. You will have to bring your own watercraft, and your own fishing equipment, but we provide all there is for a comfortable stay in the cabins. We have been fishing the waters of Cold Stream Pond for many years, and we know the waters well. We will direct you to some of the best places to find salmon and togue, but it will be your experience that lands them. |
Come spend some time at Cedar Rest Cabins. Cedar Rest Cabins is a family run business opened in the 1950's, and Dave & Melinda have been the owners for the last two years. If you are the adventurous type there is a lot to do in the area other than fishing and hunting. When you have time to spend with the family, you will be please to find many activities within an hour of the cabins.
![]() During the day you can visit Baxter State Park, Acadia National Park, or hike some of the Appalachian Trail System. The night time is our personal favorite at the lake, with the soft call of the Loon from the lake echoing in the still darkness. If that doesn't appeal to you, drive just 40 miles to Bangor for shopping and entertainment. |





Directions: Take exit 217 (previously exit 54) off 1-95 at Howland, turn East on route 155 toward Enfield. After 5.5 miles and a stop sign turn right and head East on route 188 - 1 mile on the left is the Cedar Rest road
