DEER HUNTING
Deer Hunting dates are (Rifle) month of November, (Archery) month of October, (Black Powder) 1 week after rifle season, and thru the years our record has been second to none and we have the pictures and satisfied hunters to prove it. Rifle and Black Powder are bucks only with doe by permit some years. Archery in October is either a buck or doe. This area is excellent for deer hunting with both deep woods and farm areas to hunt. We have experienced guides available who are excellent woodsman and can help your dream hunting trip come true. Many trophy bucks have been taken every year with an average weight of 180-200 lbs. field dressed, to date our camp record is 246 lbs. field dressed.
For the early fall hunter grouse, woodcock and rabbit opens October 1st thru the month of November and the hunting is great-plenty of good bird and rabbit cover, you could hunt deer with bow in October and birds and small game with shotgun.
Bear season is also open in October and November, hunting in natural feed areas, October season gives you a chance to hunt bear, grouse, woodcock and deer with a bow. In November you can hunt deer along with bear. For the early fall hunter grouse, woodcock and rabbit opens October 1st thru the month of November and the hunting is great - plenty of good bird and rabbit cover.

To obtain a moose application call 207-287-8000, permits have to be in by the 1st of April. This area is excellent moose hunting territory, during the last seasons our hunters have had around 85% success.
WE have Housekeeping Cabin, Board & Lodging or a combination of both available. We require a 3-day minimum, price after 3 days if needed would be a price per day. Sleeping bags required by all.

FISHING
Fresh water fishing in this area gets good in early May and lasts through July. There are many Brooks, Streams, Ponds and Lakes in the area that are easy to get to. The Brooks, Streams and Ponds have mainly Native Brook Trout while the Lakes have Trout, Salmon, Pickerel, White Perch and Bass. For the fly-fisherman this area is excellent because with a little driving and walking there is every different kind of water that he would want to fish in. Since I'm a fly-fisherman myself I could point out some good spots, we have some excellent wet and dry fishing for trout in June and early July. We have canoes available to rent.
